Welcome to the Flapper Lounge
"The Flapper Lounge" is a prohibition era cocktail bar celebrating Flapper Girls. For those that don't know, Flapper Girls were rebels who rejected the idea that women should uphold society's morals through temperance and chastity. They were trailblazers who cut their hair, smoked cigarettes, drank whiskey and wore their skirts above their knees (Myrvang, 2015). They were changemakers...and the inspiration behind this concept!

FAQs
-
Do I need a reservation? We do leave a small number of seats open for walk-ins but if you like to plan ahead, a reservation is the only way to guarantee your seat. Without that, you may not get in! And if you can't get one, it means we're packed, we're closed for a private event, or we're runnin' from the Fuzz. So get your reservation now or The Big Cheese might give you the Bum's Rush. P.S. It's Prohibition and this Juice Joint fronts as a wedding venue to keep the Bulls off our tail.

What should I wear at your Cocktail Bar?Well this ain't no hash house but wear whatever feels Hotsy Totsy to you. Express yourself in baggy pants, jumpers or caps, or be swanky and dress it up with glad rags, marbles and ice. It's the Flapper Lounge. Be daring, be fun and be unapologetically you.

When is your cocktail bar open?We aspire to be open Wednesday - Thursday 5pm - 10pm and Friday - Saturday 5pm - 1am. But that doesn't mean we are. Our Juice Joint doubles as a wedding venue in disguise so sometimes, we have to run on the right side of the law. The only way to know if we're open is to check our calendar to see what's happening, or make a reservation! If you're able to get one, you got the "secret knock" and that means...you're in!
